The lawmaker subsequently inquired how the worst-case scenario could be if she rubber-stamped controversial vaccine-related directives.
She expressed that the greatest concern would be finding herself in a situation where the official could authorize a measure that would reduce access to life-saving vaccines for children and at-risk populations.
"My primary concern involved potentially restricting vaccine access for those who require them the most," the official emphasized.
